NEW MEXICO: Fourth-year walk-on kicker who joined the team in the spring of 2008...has been the starting kickoff specialist the past two years...one of the strongest kickers in the program and a favorite to win the job during training camp...had a 64.0-yard kickoff average in 30 kicks in 2010.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2007 graduate of Indianapolis Cathedral High School...standout soccer player who also helped the class 4A power Fighting Irish win the state football championship in 2006...had touchbacks on all seven kickoffs in the state championship game vs. Concord HS, which was played in the RCA Dome...three-time Special Teams Player of the Week...led the soccer team in scoring as a senior when he was named Indianapolis Star All-City Player of the Year and all-state...also led the team in scoring with 20 goals as a sophomore...received the John Bissmeyer Award for Courage following the 2005 football season...also lettered in track...Honor Roll selection.
