NEW MEXICO: Gifted linebacker who had a hard-luck start to his New Mexico career...tore his ACL on the first play of the season, the opening kickoff against Colorado State...will have had a full year's recovery time when the 2012 season starts...sat out the 2010 season after transferring from the University of Maryland...played on the scout team.

2011 (FRESHMAN): Had solid spring and fall practice sessions and was on the two-deep at LB before his injury in the the season opener.

HIGH SCHOOL: Originally signed with Maryland and had enrolled early to participate in spring drills...was a four-star recruit coming out of Dunbar Senior High School and was listed as the top high school prospect in the Washington, D.C., area.
