NEW MEXICO:
Three-year letterwinner and returning starter who enters preseason camp as the starter at strong tackle after starting all 12 games on the quick side last year...coaches are looking for him to step in and be the next in a line of outstanding players at a position that has been manned over the past 3 years by two first team all-MWC selections and NFL caliber players in Jason Lenzmeier and Claude Terrell...at 6-7, 319, he is one of the largest of a massive group of linemen known as "The Hitmen"...took time to grow into his body, but has made major strides in the weight room over the past two years and has gotten the physical and technical aspects of his performance in synch...turned in a strong 2004 campaign, his first as a full-time starter, but coaches believe he has yet to show what he's truly capable of...boasts outstanding power in his upper body and has improved his lower body strength...425 bench, 365 incline, 301 power clean and 500 squat...has a good understanding of the offensive system and doesn't make many mental mistakes...has also done a nice job of keeping his weight down over the past two years...29 career games with 16 starts.
2004 (JUNIOR):
Quietly put together a solid season, starting all 12 games at quick tackle...was particularly effective in pass protection and grew more assignment sound with each game...64 knockdown blocks on the year...
Emerald Bowl (vs. Navy)...Turned in one of the best all-around performances of his career, despite the wet, muddy conditions...tied his career-high with 9 KD blocks and posted strong assignment (95%) and technique grades (89%) as well...
vs. Wyoming...Put together the most technically sound game of his career, recording a flawless 100% assignment grade and a career-best 91% technique mark in all 60 snaps...also added 6 KD blocks, helping clear the way for the Lobos' 304 rushing yards...
at Colorado State...Excellent effort as he and his fellow Hitmen paved the way for the Lobos' 181 rushing yards and did not allow a sack...95% assignment grade and had a solid 75% technique mark in 64 offensive snaps...also tallied 5 knockdowns...
vs. San Diego State...Turned in a solid game with a career-best 95% assignment grade...also had 5 KD blocks in all 70 snaps...
at Air Force...Solid performance, finishing with a 90% assignment grade and a 78% technique mark, along with 5 KD blocks...he and The Hitmen helped DonTrell Moore notch another 100-yard game and allowed only 1 "coverage" sack...
at New Mexico State...Tallied a career-best 9 knockdowns in 66 snaps, helping The Hitmen blow open some massive holes as the Lobos' piled up 321 yards on 62 rushing attempts (5.2 avg.) and did not allow a sack...90% assignment grade...
at Oregon State...Improved his assignment grade for the third straight game, finishing with a 95% mark...also had 4 KD blocks...
vs. Texas Tech...Notched a career-high 9 KD blocks in 71 plays...he and his fellow Hitmen helped pave the way for the Lobos' 142 rushing yards and did not allow a sack against a solid Big XII front line...90% assignment grade...
vs. Washington State...Good effort in his first game as a full-time starter...88% assignment grade along with 6KD blocks to help the Lobos' rack up 415 yards of total offense, including 186 on the ground, against a tough Cougar defense.
2003 (SOPHOMORE):
Appeared in five games, starting once...got his most extensive playing time at strong tackle when all-MWC lineman Jason Lenzmeier went down with an injury early in the season...
Washington State... 1 knockdown block in 34 snaps in his first start of the year...split time at ST with senior Calvin McDonald...
BYU...39 snaps at strong tackle after Lenzmeier went out with a knee injury...solid performance with 7 knockdown blocks
2002 (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN):
Appeared in 12 games, primarily as part of the PAT/FG team, and logged 7 knockdowns in 55 offensive plays...three starts at quick tackle when Colburn lined up at H-back or TE in UNM's lineman-heavy run formation
HIGH SCHOOL:
A 2001 graduate of Bishop Montgomery HS...all-league and all-C.I.F. offensive tackle at Bishop Montgomery HS in nearby Torrance...played for coach Jimmy Simms...tossed the shot put for the track team...attended Verbum Dei HS his first two years

Born Sept. 25, 1983, in Los Angeles...age is 21...son of Henry and Donna...father, now an accountant, is a Stanford graduate and played offensive tackle for the Dallas Cowboys from 1978-81...mom is a supervisory nurse during operations for plastic surgery...Terrance is interested in sports marketing or business management after college...majoring in University Studies.
