NEW MEXICO:Walk-on wide receiver who redshirted in 2011...has some catching up to do during fall camp as his class schedule interfered with spring practice, causing him to miss a few practices...a third-team State Farm All-Metro performer in 2010 at Albuquerque's West Mesa High School.

HIGH SCHOOL:A 2011 graduate of West Mesa, Struck played for coach James Palacios. In addition to his State Farm honor, he was a first-team All-District 5-5A running back his senior season...rushed for 1,136 yards and 20 touchdowns on 113 carries for the 7-3 Mustangs in 2010...had 110 carries for 889 yards with 10 TDs as a junior in 2009 for the 4-6 Mustangs...97 carries, 982 yards and 12 TDs for the West Mesa freshman team that won the city championship in 2007...also lettered in baseball and track and field...earned Academic All-District honors in 2010.
