NEW MEXICO: One of the most athletically gifted players on the team whose 2011 season was limited to four games because of injuries...has the most potential to provide the big-play threat the offense needs to be successful in 2012...a lightning quick, two-sport transfer from Ohio State...nickname is "Flash"...electronically timed at 4.38 in the 40 while at Ohio State...active in 2011 after sitting out the 2010 due to transfer rules...was allowed to compete immediately for the Lobo track team where he has established himself as one of the premier sprinters in the country...competed on the UNM track team the past two years...finished second in the 100 meters at the 2010 Mountain West Conference Outdoor Championships with a career-best time of 10.33, and became the first Lobo in 23 years to qualify for the 100 at the NCAA Championships...placed third at the MWC Outdoor in 2011 at 10.51...also a member of UNM's 4x100 relay team.
2011 (JUNIOR): Limited to four games with three starts, thanks to ankle and foot injuries...finished with nine receptions for 156 yards, and his two touchdown catches ranked second on the team...also had 10 carries for 50 yards and 11 kickoff returns for 251 yards for a 22.8-yard average...best game came against No. 13 Arkansas in week two when he had five receptions for 60 yards and two carries for 25 yards...had a season-high 62 receiving yards and one TD on two receptions in week five vs. New Mexico State. OHIO STATE: Two-year letterman for the Buckeyes, appearing in 23 games, mostly special teams, in his two seasons in Columbus....5 catches for 39 yards and a 6-yard run on offense...was Ohio State's primary kickoff returner both seasons...played in all 13 games and averaged 20.9 yards on a team-high 18 kickoff returns in 2009 for the Rose Bowl champion Buckeyes...appeared in 10 games and averaged 21.6 yards on a team-high 16 kick returns as a true freshman in 2008...finished fourth in the 100 meters (10.65) at the 2009 Big 10 Track Championships and helped the Buckeyes' 4x100 relay team capture gold (40.55).
