NEW MEXICO: A junior college transfer from Cerritos (Calif.) who added much-needed depth on the defensive line in 2011...could play an important role in the three-man front in 2012...has practiced

2011 (JUNIOR): Played 10 games as a reserve defensive tackle...missed two games with a sprained knee...finished with nine tackles on the season.

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Spent two years (2009-10) at Cerritos (Calif.) College for coach Frank Mazota...finished with 38 tackles in 12 games during the 2010 season...had six tackles for loss, 0.5 sacks and four quarterback hurries...made 17 tackles, seven solo, with 1.5 tackles for loss his freshman season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Bellflower HS in Bellflower, Calif...for coach Mike Brown...earned Defensive Player of the Year honors his senior year...had 55 sacks, four sacks and four fumble recoveries...All-Suburban League as a senior...also played basketball and volleyball.
