NEW MEXICO: Fifth-year offensive lineman who joined the team as a walk-on in the fall of 2007 (redshirt season)...has played both tackle and guard at UNM and been a solid scout team performer...has made good progress in the weight room over the past three years and has solid athletic ability that could translate into playing time his senior season...prep teammate of UNM senior receiver Michael Scarlett...uncle Bruce Battle played basketball for the Lobos during the 1973-74 season.
