NEW MEXICO:

A starter last fall who is one of the most dependable wide receivers on the team...is projected to come off the bench in `06, but coaches say they have a lot of confidence in his ability to step in and contribute...does not have big time speed, but does everything else well... solid hands, runs good routes, grasped the new offense quickly and is a tough, willing blocker...Butte College teammate Brian Ramsay is a Lobo offensive lineman...played on the same high school and JC teams as former Cal standout QB Aaron Rodgers, a 2005 first round draft pick of the Green Bay Packers...caught a 75-yard TD pass from Rodgers against rival Chico HS...was primarily a soccer player, however, lettering all four years for the Vikings...still displays an outstanding leg and could even serve as the team's emergency place kicker for road games this year.

2005 (JUNIOR): Started 10 of 11 games and caught 12 passes for 102 yards (8.5 avg.) during the season...had 7 catches for 70 yards in the last 5 games of the year...vs. Air Force...Took a big hit, but held on for a 5-yard gain on his lone reception...catch came on a 3rd-and-4 play, keeping a 2nd quarter UNM TD drive alive...vs. Colorado State...Caught a pair of passes for 16 yards, including an 11-yard gain...at Wyoming...Enjoyed his best performance of the year with 3 receptions for 41 yards...all of his catches went for 1st downs, including 2 on 3rd-and-long plays...pulled in a 22-yard pass on a highlight reel catch to set-up the Lobos' FG at the end of the 1st half...layed out and dragged both feet in bounds to catch the under-thrown ball at the Wyoming 3...also had an 8-yard grab on 3rd-and-5 to keep the Lobos' go-ahead TD drive alive late in the 3rd quarter.

BUTTE CC:

Recorded 37 catches for 571 yards and 7 TDs in 2004 for head coach Craig Rigsbee...helped the Roadrunners to a 9-2 record...a redshirt at Butte in 2002.

HIGH SCHOOL:

A 2002 graduate of Pleasant Valley in Chico...only played one year of football, that coming as a senior...earned first team all-section and all-league honors...57 catches, 957 yards, 10 TDs...caught a 75-yard TD pass from Rodgers against rival Chico HS...played for head coach Sterling Jackson...a four-year letterman for the Vikings in soccer.
