-B.R. Holbrook's 6-yard pass to WR Lamaar Thomas early in the second quarter ended a five-quarter drought without a completion.
-UNM's string of 300-yard rushing games was halted at nine straight, which ties the 1971 team. It finished with 10 300-yard rushing games, which are a school record. The Lobos finished with a six-game losing streak, losing four of those games by seven points or less. Last season, UNM was outscored by an average of 25.9 points per game. The Lobos' four wins this season still was their most since 2008.
-RB Kasey Carrier's 1-yard touchdown run in the first quarter was his 15th of the season and moved him into sole possession of second place on the school's single-season rushing TD list. His 3-yard run with just 11 minutes left in the fourth quarter gave him 41 for the game and moved him past DonTrell Moore for the single-season leader in rushing in UNM history. He finished with 59 yards to give him 1,469 on the season.
-QB B.R. Holbrook completed his first pass since the Fresno State game on Oct. 27. His 48-yard pass to Andrew Aho in the third quarter was a season-long. He bettered that mark with a 55-yard TD pass to RB Jhurell Pressley. The TD pass was Holbrook's first since the season opener vs. Southern. He had a season-high 205 passing yards.
-TE Andrew Aho's 48-yard reception was a career-long.
-RB Jhurell Pressley's 55-yard TD reception in the fourth quarter was his first TD reception of the season and seventh TD overall.
-LB Dallas Bollema intercepted Conner Smith and returned the ball 35 yards to the Colorado State 3 in the first quarter. The pick was the second in as many weeks for Bollema, his third of the season and career. He had a tackle for loss in the second quarter to give him 6.5 TFLs on the season. He left the game in the third quarter because of injury.
-LB Joseph Harris had two TFLs to give him 7.5 TFLs on the season to rank third on the team.
-CB Cranston Jones' second-quarter pass breakup was his fourth of the season.
-SS Matt Raymer had a TFL in the third quarter to give him 8.0 on the season to tie for the most on the team with DE Jacori Greer. Raymer finished with double-digit tackles for the second consecutive game.
-CB Destry Berry's third-quarter pass breakup was his team-leading 11th of the year.
-FS Freddy Young finished with double-digit tackles for the second consecutive game.
-DT Ugo Uzodinma forced his second fumble of the year in the third quarter and was credited with his fifth TFL of the season.
-P Ben Skaer's 64-yard punt in the first quarter was the second longest of his career and his third punt of 60 yards or more this season. His career-long coming into this season was 59 yards. He booted two for more than 50 yards Saturday, extending his career-best punts of 50 or more yards to 14. Skaer landed three punts inside the 20 to give him 15 on the season.
-K Justus Adams extended his consecutive extra-point streak to all 40 this season. He booted two field goals for the first time since the New Mexico State game on Sept 22 and had nine field goals made this season. UNM had only six field goals in 2011.
-Kickoff specialist Greg Rivara sent all three of his kicks to the back of the end zone for touchbacks, giving him 28 on the season.
-KR Chase Clayton, who entered the game as the No. 14 kick returner in the nation at 28.9 yards per game, had two returns for an average of 31.5 yards.
