Season tickets for the 2008 University of New Mexico football season are now on sale. Coming off the first bowl win since 1961 and biggest bowl shutout in 11 years, the New Mexico Bowl champions return 40 letterwinners and 12 starters from last year's 9-4 team.

Head coach Rocky Long and his team will play one of the most challenging and attractive home schedules in program history this year with six exciting teams visiting University Stadium. The Lobos open up with three nationally televised home games, starting with Mountain West Conference rival and Texas Bowl champion TCU on Aug. 30.

On Sept. 6, one of the most storied programs in college football comes to town as Texas A&M and its new coach Mike Sherman make their first trip to Albuquerque. The following week, on Sept. 13, the Pac-10's high-octane Arizona Wildcats return to University Stadium for the first time since 1990.

The home slate continues with an Oct. 4 date with Wyoming and Oct. 18 meeting with San Diego State, and concludes with a visit from Poinsettia Bowl champion Utah on Nov. 1.

Great season tickets are available with prices starting at only $72 for adults, $36 for youth and $180 for an entire family of 2 adults and 2 children. Season ticket holders will receive a 47% discount on the Cherry level season tickets and 40% off Silver level season tickets compared to single game buyers.
