Aaron Day is in his 12th year at the University of New Mexico, working with men's golf, men's and women's basketball, baseball, men's soccer, men's tennis and assisting with football.
Day, 37, received his bachelor's degree in Biology from Oklahoma Baptist in 1996. He was a two-time All-American in the 400 meters and the 4x400-meter relay for the Bison. He was a member of the OBU distance medley relay team that captured the 1996 NAIA indoor title and posted the world's second-fastest indoor time that year. Day spent two years working at Adams Course Health and Sports Performance in Tulsa, Okla., before coming to UNM in August of 1999.
Day is married to former Lobo basketball forward Lindsey Arndt.
