NEW MEXICO: Redshirt senior with the potential for a breakout season in 2012-13...took medalist honors at the U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship in Midway, Utah on July 10, 2012...his 7-under 135 was one stroke better than USC's T.J. Vogel and Oklahoma State's Talor Gooch.
2011-12 (JUNIOR): Finished second on the team in stroke average, with a 71.90 over 42 rounds of play...his single-season stroke average is good for seventh place all-time in school history...an All-Mountain West selection, one of three on the team...named to the 2012 Division I PING All-West Region team by the Golf Coaches Asssociation of America...finished ranked in the top 100 by GolfWeek.com...had six top-10 finishes in 14 events, including a runner-up performance at the William H. 2009-10 (SOPHOMORE): Strung together six consecutive top-25 finishes while competing in 12 varsity tournaments...finished as the top scorer for the Lobos in five events...Posted three top-10 finishes, highlighted by a third-place finish at the Alister MacKenzie Invitational...Carded 6-under-par 65 in the second round at the Alister MacKenzie - the lowest round recorded by any Lobo last season...won two of three matches to help propel the Lobos to the team championship at the Callaway Collegiate Match Play Championships...Team-low 73.31 stroke average over 35 varsity rounds...Notched five rounds in the 60s and 14 rounds at par or lower.
2008-09 (FRESHMAN): Played in all 13 varsity events as a true freshman, averaging 72.79 strokes per round - second best on the team...Medalled at the John Burns Intercollegiate, carding an 11-under-par 69-71-65=205...Carded six rounds in the 60s and 15 rounds at par or better...Finished the season ranked No. 115 nationally.
