THIS SEASON: Poised to make a run at all-conference honors after a stellar 2009-10 campaign...finished his first season with a pair of top-5 finishes, six top-25 finishes and the second-best scoring average on the team (73.39).

2009-10 (JUNIOR): Burst onto the collegiate golf scene with top-25 finishes in six varsity events...Finished 4th after carding a 5-over-par 75-73-73=221 at the Southern Highlands Collegiate Masters, competing against 12 teams ranked in the top 20...led the entire field at the SHCM with 12 birdies...Followed that up with a fifth-place finish at the National Invitational tournament (69-75-71=215, -1)... Won all four of his matches in leading the Lobos to the team championship at the Calloway Collegiate Match Play Championship...Seeded 15th in a 16-team field, Ross and the Lobos scored four straight upsets, all by a 3-2 margin, to claim the team championship. New Mexico first bumped off second-seeded and sixth-ranked Washington in the opening round. Ross, ranked No. 151 nationally, beat the Huskies' Richard Lee - ranked No. 31 - in the first round, 2-up...cinched the Lobos' second-round win over No. 26 and 10th-seeded San Diego on the final hole of his match with Kenneth McCready. Ross beat McCready 1-up, actually winning the final two holes to erase a one-hole deficit with two to play. Ross bested defending NCAA champion, 4th-ranked and third-seeded Texas A&M's Cameron Peck in the third round, 2 and 1. Ross led Peck, ranked 45th, by as many as three holes throughout the course of the match...saved his best performance for the title match, dominating USC's No. 71-ranked Steve Lim 5 and 4. The 12th-ranked Trojans entered the match play as the No. 8 seed...Qualified for every varsity event after redshirting during his first year at New Mexico...

2008-09 (REDSHIRT): Reshirted his first year at UNM... U.S. Public Links qualifier.

AT ST. CLOUD STATE: Two-time NCAA Division II Northwest All-Region team member at St Cloud State in St. Cloud, Minn...was the medalist at the North Central Conference Championships in 2007 (69-72-70, -5)...led St. Cloud State to the NCC title last season...named to the 2007 NCC Academic Honor Roll.
