Men's Golf: Lobos in 3rd After Two Rounds of Sooner Invitational
FRISCO, Texas - The University of New Mexico stands in third place at 16-under par after two rounds of the Sooner Invitational in Frisco, Texas. The Lobos trail leader TCU, who shot -25, by nine strokes, and are two strokes back of host Oklahoma, who is in second place at 18-under par.

Individually, UNM senior Michael Letzig continues his hot streak, as he shot 68-69 to come in the clubhouse at 7-under par, good for third place. TCU's Colby Beckstrom currently leads the tournament five strokes ahead of Letzig at 12-under, while his teammate, Adam Rubinson is in second at -9. Letzig, who last weekend won the individual title at UNM's Tucker Intercollegiate, has shot all five rounds this season under par, including four rounds under 70.

Other notable for the Lobos include sophomore Madalitso Muthiya, who is 7th at 6-under, and freshman Jae Choi, who is 11th at 4-under.

The third and final round of the Sooner Invitational concludes Tuesday afternoon.
