Lobo Men's Soccer Welcomes Five to the Ranks for 2012

The staff feels that the newest additions to the roster show all indications of bringing talent and team camaraderie to the returning team.

2011 (SOPHOMORE/FDU): Last season, Calderon started nine games for the Knights and appeared in 15, logging one goal on the season.

2010 (FRESHMAN/FDU): Calderon started in 13 of the Knights' 17 contests in 2010 and was named top offensive rookie after his debut season. He scored his first career goal in 1-1 tie at home against Robert Morris on Oct. 15, and his second career goal the following match in 1-0 home victory over Saint Francis PA on Oct. 17. He was named the NEC Player and Rookie of the Week for his efforts, as well as to College Soccer News' National Team of the Week.

PERSONAL: The son of Maurician Calderon and Rosibel Gonzalez, Michael was born Dec. 6, 1988 in San Jose, Costa Rica. He intends to major in exercise science at UNM.
