11/18/2010 Day 1: Lobo Soccer Arrives in OmahaImages of the University of New Mexico men's soccer team at the first round of the NCAA Tournament vs. Creighton Chris Cartlidge is in his sixth season as an assistant coach with the New Mexico men's soccer program, his first as a volunteer coach. He was a full-time assistant for the previous four years, and a volunteer assistant during the 2006 season. He has spent the last 10 years with Rio Vista FC and currently serves as its Director of Coaching. Cartildge is a native of Essex, England, and is a graduate of Essex University where he received a law degree in 1992. He was captain of the men's soccer team at Essex and went on to player semi-pro soccer in England after graduation. He and his wife, Letta, have two sons, Finn (10) and Aidan (6). |
