Clark returns to Albuquerque for his fourth season with the Lobos. Prior to his arrival at UNM Clark spent three seasons with the San Jose Earthquakes of Major League Soccer. He was drafted out of Stanford as the 21st overall pick in the 1999 MLS Draft. As a rookie, he started 22 of 26 games for San Jose.

Clark began his college career at North Carolina before transferring to Stanford after his freshman season. In 1998 he became the first All-American in the history of Cardinal soccer. That season he also guided the Cardinal to their first ever appearance in the NCAA Final Four. Clark excelled in the classroom, earning Academic All-American honors while at Stanford.

"Jamie brings us a great deal of high level experience in both the college and professional ranks," stated head coach Jeremy Fishbein. Clark's father, Bobby, is currently the head coach at Notre Dame.
