Men's Soccer vs. Towson -- Aug. 26, 2011

Men's soccer defeated Towson, 2-0. Giovanni Rollie and Lawrence Robledo each netted a goal in the Lobo victory.

2011 - FRESHMAN SEASON... Started in all 22 games for the Lobos, played a total of 1969 minutes on the season at the left-back position... proved himself to be a valuable asset from day one as a Lobo... logged one goal on the season against Denver on Oct. 7 and one assist on Oct. 28 against Sacramento state... Was named to the University of Akron All-Tournament team... was named to the MPSF All-Tournament team... Earned a spot on the third-team All-MPSF... Scored his penalty kick in the Lobos' sudden-death shootout against USF in the Sweet 16 round of the NCAA Tournament.

HIGH SCHOOL... Played four years at Hamilton Boys High School (HBHS) in Hamilton, New Zealand...Had four goals and six assists his senior year en route to a 10-1-4 record... contributed three goals and seven assists his junior year helping his team to a 12-3-3 record...tallied 31 goals and 31 assists over the course of his high school career.
