#10 NEW MEXICO AT A GLANCE: UNM is coming off a dominating weekend that saw the team dial in on offense and defense. It began with their record-breaking 11-0 win versus UNLV. The eleven goals were the most scored by a NCAA Division I team this season, and it was the most scored by New Mexico against a Division I opponent in program history. They followed that up with a 2-0 shutout of CSU Bakersfield two days later. That victory saw the Lobos shutout one of the most potent offense in college soccer.
SAN JOSE STATE AT A GLANCE: The Spartans have been a team of streaks in 2012. In their last six games, SJSU won the first three games before dropping their last three coming into Friday night's match. In those three losses, which were to UNLV, Air Force and Denver, the Spartans gave up ten goals.
