ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. --- A historic season comes to a close for Jeremy Fishbein and the New Mexico Lobo men's soccer program. Season-end notes are now available on the men's soccer home page of GoLobos.com, or at the following link:

Some of the program's top highlights of the season are listed below:

The Lobos finished their season ranked No. 1 in the country in all three major polls. The team took first place in three tournaments this season, including the TLC Invitational, the University of Akron Tournament, and the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation tournament.

Three players were named to the MPSF All-Tourament team after the Lobos’ win over CSU Bakersfield in the championship game.
Kyle Venter and Mike Green were both named to the all-tournament team, while Lobo keeper
Victor Rodriguez was named the tournament MVP.

New Mexico had two players named All-Americans by multiple publications and one CoSIDA Academic All-American. Venter and
Lance Rozeboom were named second-team All-American by the NSCAA, Venter was named third-team by College Soccer News, and
Levi Rossi was named a third-team CoSIDA Academic All-American.

Jeremy Fishbein was named the Region Coach of the Year and finished the season with a Division I .726 winning percentage.

Five Lobos were named All-Far West Region. Rozeboom, Venter and Sandoval were named first team, while
Blake Smith was named second-team and Mike Green made an appearance on the third-team.
