He also reached the round of 16 in the same tournament in doubles with Conor Berg. 2010-2011: Junior Season Ho played mostly at the number three position in singles and the number three position in doubles as well. In singles, he accumulated a 12-11 record. In doubles, he teamed mostly with Joe Wood going 10-5 for the season. 2009-2010: Sophomore Season He was named to the Mountain West Conference singles team. He went a combined 17-15 in fall and spring singles play, including an 8-11 mark in dual action. He played primarily at the No. 1 and No. 2 slot after spending his freshman season the year before at the No. 6 position. He won his second straight Balloon Fiesta Invite, defeating teammate Jadon Phillips in the "A" flight's championship round. 2008-2009: Freshman Season He compiled a 10-2 spring singles record and 11-3 fall record for an overall mark of 21-5. He started singles action at 3-2 before going 9-0 to finish the year. He recorded a perfect record in conference singles at 5-0. He lost two of his first three singles matches for only two losses of the spring season. They were the only two matches all season that extended to three sets. Prior to UNM He led his high school team to second place in British Columbia provincial AA high school championship. He was named MVP in singles and mixed doubles in 2008. He was named top 10 in British Columbia Men's Open. He ranked first in British Columbia under 18 for the past two years. Personal He is the son of Herman and Susan Ho and has one sister, Ivy. He enjoys video games and sushi. His favorite athletes are Roger Federer and Tiger Woods. He will major in Business. Head Coach Alan Dils on Ho: "You know every day what you will get from Carl.
