In his short time with the team, he played one match in doubles with Simon. Prior to UNM He was a 2008 graduate from La Cueva High School in Albuquerque, N.M. receiving letters for all four years in high school. He has a combined singles record of 133- 10. He was taught by Dick Johnson and Woody Supple. Personal He is the son of Cheryl and Woody Supple and has two siblings Molly and Kevin. His sister is training to be a tri-athlete at University of Arizona. His dad was a stand-out player for the University of Arizona. His greatest thrill playing tennis at UNM is that he likes the team mentality of working harder than everyone else. He is majoring in Criminology. Head Coach Alan Dils on Supple: "Ian is a great guy and I'm happy to see him playing some this year. He has had to work hard to become eligible for Division I tennis." |
