ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Abbie Letz had 18 points and 10 rebounds and Dionne Marsh set two New Mexico free-throw shooting records in the No. 23 Lobos' 79-53 victory over Air Force on Wednesday night.

New Mexico (19-7, 9-4 Mountain West) won its 34th straight conference game at home with a combination of eight 3-pointers, the scoring and rebounding of Letz and Marsh's frequent trips to the foul line.

Marsh was 8-for-11 from the line and has hit 142 of 196 free throws this season - both school records. Marsh's free throws made broke the previous school mark of 136 set by Abby Garchek.

Letricia Castillo scored 15 points to lead Air Force (12-13, 3-11), which has lost 10 of 12.

New Mexico hit its first six shots, including three 3-pointers, then used a 12-0 run to take a 34-13 lead with 6:04 left in the first half. Marsh scored eight of the 12, including seven straight.

The Lobos led 43-24 at the half and stayed safely in front with their 3-point shooters. Katie Montgomery hit four 3s and Letz had two as the Lobos were 8-for-12 overall. Back-to-back 3s by Montgomery pushed New Mexico's lead to 66-38 with 10:26 left.

Air Force had 15 offensive rebounds and the Lobos 18 - six of them by Letz - as New Mexico finished with a 44-27 rebounding margin.
