ALBUQUERQUE, NM - Congratulations to head coach Kit Vela and assistant coach Jorge Vela on the birth of their baby boy, Paolo Andreas Vela.

The Velas welcomed Paolo on Dec. 26, 2003 at 1:22 a.m. He weighed 9 lbs., 2 oz. and was 21 inches long.
