Pictures from the games against Hampton & Bradley on Feb. 16. 03/12/2013 UNM Softball Lobo Classic - vs. IPFW & Central MichiganThe Lobo softball squad faced IPFW and Central Michigan in its final day of the Lobo Classic on Feb. 17 LOBO CAREER NOTES - Appeared in 44 games throughout her four-year career, including making 12 starts... recorded two hits, nine runs and one stolen base...defensively, tallied 36 putouts, six assists and caught one runner stealing while remaining error free...one of the best games of her career came against Florida International in early March of her sophomore season as she got the start at catcher and went 1-for-2 at the plate, hitting a double... also drew a walk and scored one run in the Lobos' 9-4 win...an extremely hard worker who has served as an outfielder, designated player, pinch runner, and catcher, Amber has especially been a staple in the Lobo bullpen where she's been a tremendous support for UNM pitchers...possesses a consistently positive attitude and enthusiasm for all aspects of being a student-athlete...those qualities, along with her willingness to give to the Lobo softball program in any way she can, earned her the respect of her coaches and teammates...an exercise science major. SENIOR YEAR (2013) - Played in 19 games, making three starts early in the season...had one hit in 12 at-bats...went 1-for-1 in stolen bases...recorded 11 putouts and one assist on defense while remaining error free. JUNIOR YEAR (2012) - Saw action in eight games, serving as a pinch hitter/runner and a back-up catcher for the Lobos...drew two walks in six at-bats...scored one run...recorded four putouts. SOPHOMORE YEAR (2011)- Played in 13 games for the Lobos, starting seven...had two hits. FRESHMAN YEAR (2010)-Started her first game against BYU as a true freshman...played in four games with one start for the Lobos...scored one run as a pinch runner...spent the season working out and developing. HIGH SCHOOL- Player from Del Norte High School in Albuquerque...played two sports in high school, softball and basketball...First Team All-District softball selection...4A New Mexico Softball Player of the Year...named Third Team All-District in basketball...received the New Mexico Lottery Scholarship, Principle Leadership Award and the Science Award. PERSONAL-Born March 13, 1991 in Albuquerque, N.M... daughter of Bill Tracy...three siblings, brothers Jason and Robert and a sister Tiffany...hobbies include music, basketball and being with her nephew...favorite foods are mashed potatoes and fruit...majoring in exercise science.
