FRESHMAN SEASON (2008) - Primarily used as a pinch runner at New Mexico...appeared in 12 games and stole five of seven bases...collected a hit in one of her two at-bats...scored five runs as a Lobo. HIGH SCHOOL - A 2007 graduated from Kearney High School in Kearney, Mo., where she won a softball state championship with the Bulldogs her junior year... named first team all-conference and received all-district honors during her time at KHS... hit over .400 all four years...lettered in both softball and basketball. PERSONAL - Born Ashley Nichole Hudson on October 31, 1988...daughter of Chris Fortuna...goes by the nickname "Huddy"...has two brothers named Cody (23) and Brandon (21)...has two siblings in collegiate athletics; brother Brandon plays baseball at Pratt College and her uncle Rick Fortuna played collegiate baseball...enjoys shopping, eating and watching movies...greatest moment while participating in athletics was winning the state championship her junior year...undecided on major at UNM.
