SENIOR SEASON (2012) - Started all 52 games behind the plate for the Lobos and batted in the No. 4 spot...finished the season with a team-high 24 home runs -- a new single-season school record and a second-place rank in MW history for single-season homers...finished the regular season ranked in the top ten among all Div. I softball players in five categories: home runs (third, 24), home runs per game (third, .46), runs-batted-in per game (fourth, 1.33), slugging percentage (sixth, 9.17), and batting average (seventh, .448)...finished second in the Mountain West for batting average (.448), slugging percentage (.917) and hits (81)...topped the MW in RBIs (69), home runs (24), total bases (166), and caught stealing bys (21)...had seven games in which she hit 1.000 (vs. Idaho State on Feb. 11, 4-for-4; vs. Texas Tech on March 12, 3-for-3; vs. Weber State on March 25, 2-for-2; vs. New Mexico State on April 10, 2-for-2; vs. Boise State on April 29, 4-for-4; vs. UTEP on May 1, 3-for-3; and vs. UNLV on May 4, 3-for-3)...shattered UNM's single-season records for: hits (81 - the previous record was 70, set by Van Hooydonk in 1997), runs batted in (69 - previous record was 54, set by Danielle Cassara in 1999), slugging percentage (.917 - previous was .801 Garcia set in 2011), and total bases (166 - previous record was 120, set in 1999 by Cassara)...also broke the program's single-season record for runners thrown out, nabbing 21 runners (previous record was 20 set by Liz Young in 2006 and tied by Garcia in 2011)...set a new career record for runners thrown out catching 64 runners stealing in her four seasons at UNM ...(previous career record was 39, which Garcia tied at the end of her junior season and was originally set by Amy Minick in 1986-89)...ranks in a few other New Mexico career categories - hits (fifth, 193), RBIs (second, 133), and total bases (second, 346)...named MW Player of the Week on Feb. 14 for her performance in the season-opening Kajikawa Classic in Tempe, Ariz...named the Lobos' Offensive Player of the Year and Most Valuable Player...named to the 2012 Mountain West Softball All-Conference Team...named to the NFCA All-West Region First Team...honored as an at-large Third Team NFCA All-American becoming the first Lobo since 1990 and the fifth Lobo in the history of the program to receive national honors...named Second Team All-America by Easton Fastpitch...named Second Team All-America by Easton Fastpitch...named to the Spring 2012 Academic All-Mountain West team.
JUNIOR SEASON (2011)- Started all 45 games as catcher/utility for the Lobos...led the team in several categories: batting percentage (.418), runs scored (33), hits (61 on 146 at-bats), doubles (15), home runs (13), slugging percentage (.801) and on-base percentage (.446)...led the Mountain West in slugging percentage (.801), doubles (15) and total bases (117)...among the top in the conference in several categories: batting average (third--.418), on-base percentage (fifth--.446), hits (third--61), RBIs (ninth--37), and home runs (second--13)... ranked in the top 50 among NCAA Div. I players in four categories: batting average (36th--.418), home runs per game (36th- .29PG), doubles per game (12th--.33PG), and slugging percentage (17th--.801)...broke the UNM single-season record for slugging percentage with .801 on 146 at-bats...tied the UNM single-season record for home runs with 13 (Danielle Cassara 1999)...ranks in the top-ten for UNM single-season records in batting average (third) with a .418, doubles (tied for fifth) with 15 (Danielle Cassara 2000), hits (three-way tie for 9th) with 61 (Rachael Wennekamp 1998, Heather Medearis 1994), runs batted in (eighth) with 37, and total bases (third) with 117......had three games with two homers including back-to-back conference games...had a career-long hitting streak of 14 games this season...had 19 games with multiple hits and 11 games with multiple RBIs...named Mountain West Player-of-the-Week March 15...named Second Team All-West Region by Louisville Slugger and the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA).
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2010) -Started in 42 games as a catcher for the Lobos in her sophomore year...hit .244 with 30 hits in 123 at-bats...had 14 RBIs, 12 runs scored, and five stolen bases...hit four doubles and a home run...on defense, the catcher caught 15 runners stealing to lead the Mountain West in that category.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2009)-Tough player who started 30 games as a true freshman and played in 38...went 21-for-102 at the plate and hit for a .206 average...recorded three doubles, a triple, and 11 RBI...scored three runs and stole three bases in five attempts...recipient of the Mountain West Academic All-Conference Award for spring 2009.
HIGH SCHOOL-Played softball for head coach Dave Masucci at Etiwanda High School...also played soccer and volleyball at EHS...was named Sun Valley Player of the Year...was named her team's MVP her junior year...named to the Daily Bulletin first team her sophomore-senior year...played club ball for the Pastime, So Cal A's, Fresno Force and the Mistfits All-American.
