The Lobos picked up their second-consecutive Mountain West victory by topping the Broncos, 6-5, on Saturday evening
The Lobos dropped a 10-5 decision to CSU on May 11, 2013 for its final game of the season. UNM honored seven players following the game.
The Lobos won the Mountain West weekend series against Boise State, taking two games from the Broncos. BSU topped the Lobos, 13-0 on Sunday.
The Lobos and Aggies met for the third time this season (first in ABQ) on March 19. NMSU took the 2-0 win.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2012) - Made 19 starts and 31 appearances in her rookie season as a Lobo...led the pitching staff with a 5.07 ERA...posted an 8-9 record and earned two saves...got her first collegiate win (13-5, five innings) over Northwestern on Feb. 11 at the Kajikawa Classic in Tempe, Ariz., scattering six hits and striking out a season-high eight batters...recorded a shutout victory (8-0) on March 2 at home against Cal State Bakersfield in the opening night of the UNM Invitational...named Mountain West Pitcher of the Week on April 10 for her 5-1 win against Cal State Northridge on April 8...earned the Lobos' Pitcher of the Year award.
HIGH SCHOOL - Played at Cimarron-Memorial High School in Las Vegas, Nev., under Coach Steve Gorden....lettered in softball all four years...named all- conference pitcher, all-state pitcher, and MVP of her high school team all four years... high school Female Athlete of the Year in 2011.... Las Vegas Athletic Club Female Athlete of the Year 2011...lettered in tennis her junior and senior years...led Southern Nevada in strikeouts during her senior year.
PERSONAL - Born May 5th, 1993 to Candi and Shawn Sheehan in Las Vegas, Nev...has a younger brother, Riley... played for Las Vegas Rage Gold 18U under Chris McDonald and Shan McDonald from 2008-2011...enjoys talking and hanging out with friends...majoring in Education.
