Lobos ready to battle Aggies, bid farewell to group of special seniors

SENIOR: Finished fourth in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:07.75...was also eighth in the 100-yard back for UNM in her last year with the program.

JUNIOR: Finished third in the 200-yard backstroke, sixth in the 100-yard freestyle, and eighth in the 50-yard freestyle....was a 2010-2011 Academic All-Conference recipient.

SOPHOMORE: Finished second in the 200-yard backstroke, fifth in the 100-yard backstroke.

FRESHMAN: Has the fifth fastest time for the Lobos in the 100-yard backstroke...was seventh in the 50-yard freestyle...eighth in the 100-yard freestyle.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Elsinore High School and swam for the MESA Aquatics club team...most valuable swimmer in 2005-08...All-Valley team in 2007, and 2008...record holder in the 100-yard backstroke, 100-yard freestyle, 200-yard IM, 200-yard free relay and the 400-yard free relay...2006 and 2007 CIF Sectional Division qualifier...exepected to compete in the sprint freestyle and backstroke.

PERSONAL: Born May 28, 1990...daughter of Mike and Denise Gugerty...has one brother, Kevin (16)...favorite athlete is Natalie Coughlin...favorite food is fettuccini alfredo...hobbies include swimming, playing water polo, going to the beach, volleyball and drawing...intended major is Kinesiology.
