KRISTIN'S ACTION SHOTS

2010-2011: Sophomore Season

Kristin Eggleston played mostly in the number four position, and number three slot in doubles. She racked up some impressive wins against Drake, UTEP, University of Colorado, University of Nevada-Reno, and Colorado State University. She reached the third round at the very prestigious ITA Mountain Region Championship. She was named Mountain West Scholar Athlete. She is also a member of the SAC (Student Athletic Committee).

2009-2010: Freshman Season

She went 9-28 overall in singles and played every position in the line up from 2 to 5. She went 6-22 overall in doubles and 4-13 in doubles spending most of the season with partner Manumea Durie. She was named UNM Scholar Athlete.

Prior to UNM

She is a 2009 graduate of Palm Desert California High School. She was coached, by the now, Assistant Coach of UNM Michelle Heidbrink. She won the CIF State Tournament her senior year and was named MVP senior year. She is an excellent student and earned honor roll every year in high school earning senior scholar.

Personal

She is the daughter of Suzanne Moore and George Eggleston. She has four siblings: Matt, Ryan, Blake, and Jordan. Her brother Blake plays tennis for Indiana Tech. She is majoring in Marketing.

"Kristin has a very solid groundstroke game; with the experience she now brings to the table along with the hunger she has to prove herself. Look to her coming through in some big key matches."

"Kristin is a tough competitor with strong ground strokes. Just since last year she has added a lot of dimensions to her game and is playing smarter and bigger. She is playing with confidence and I'm excited to see her have some great results this year."
