Heidbrink is starting her first year as the new assistant coach for the women's tennis team. As a former player from 2001-2005 Heidbrink was a four year letterwinner and still holds a spot on five different records. She holds the No. 3 spot on the most doubles wins in a career with 87. Along with that Heidbrink is No. 8 on the most singles wins in a career with 80, No. 8 on the highest career winning percentage with 66.3%, No. 7 on the most combined career wins with 167 and No. 9 for most doubles wins in a single season with 29. Heidbrink received MWC All-Conference singles and doubles awards twice and was twice voted Most Improved Player at New Mexico.

Before coming back to New Mexico Heidbrink was the head coach for the Palm Desert High School varsity tennis team in Palm Desert, Calif. where she led the team to an undefeated season in 2009 (22-0). She was twice voted coach of the year for the seasons on 2007-2008 and 2008-2009.

Heidbrink earned her bachelors degree from New Mexico in 2005 in Political Science and Philosophy.

Spring 2005 Went 10-10 at the No. 3 spot in singles...went 2-0 at the No. 2 spot...finished spring play 12-10 in singles...Posted a 17-2 record in doubles with partner Tiffany Robertson at the No. 2 position...went 18-6 overall in doubles play...tied Maja Kovacek for the No.1 spot on the most doubles wins in a career with 87.

Fall 2004: Played in the singles and doubles main draw at the ITA Central Region Championships...advanced with teammate Lucy Scott to the round of 32 in doubles competition...advanced to the consolation round of 16 in singles at the Central Region Championships...ended the fall season with a 5-5 singles record and an 8-4 doubles record with Scott...ranked No. 15 in fall regional rankings for doubles.

2003-04: Posted overall marks of 25-9 in singles...played at the No. 3, 4, 5 and 6 singles positions...collected the best record at the No. 5 spot, recording an 8-0 record...was 30-6 overall in doubles competition ...teamed up with Tiffany Robertson at the No. 3 doubles spot for the second consecutive year...was awarded MWC Player of the Week April 22...named to the all-MWC singles team and to the all-MWC academic team for the third time in her career at UNM.

2002-03: Tied for second on team in singles wins (20)...played at the No. 3, 4 and 5 singles spots...had most success at No. 4, recording a 7-3 record...was 20-11 overall...played with Tiffany Robertson at the No. 3 doubles spot, losing only one match (12-1)...named to the all-MWC doubles team with Robertson...voted "Most Improved Player"...named to the all-MWC academic team.

2001-02: Went 18-15 in singles...played at the No. 3 spot at the MWC Championships ...teamed up with senior Courtney Choate at the No. 3 spot in doubles ...finished with a 15-11 doubles record...chair of the Steering and Rules Senate Committee ...member of the UNM Athletic Council...named to the all-MWC academic team.

HIGH SCHOOL: Began high school career at Chadwick in Palos Verdes, Calif...was second team all-state her freshman and sophomore years...made it to the quarterfinals in the state tournament both seasons...transferred to the Weil Tennis Academy for her junior and senior years...was ranked in the top-20 in Southern California and in the top-100 nationally her senior year.
