Head Coach Roy Canada on Oldani:

"Michaela is a very intense competitor. She started playing competitive tennis later than most of her peer group and has steadily gained ground on them. Michaela has a huge forehand that can go through anybody in the country! She had a chance last year to win some big singles matches against SDSU and Arizona that have made a mark in her career and sent a message to those teams that overlooked her in the recruiting process."

Assistant Coach Michelle Heidbrink on Oldani:

"Michaela has great energy on the court; she plays with a lot of enthusiasm and has a way of getting her team fired up when she is competing. She loves to hit the ball and uses her power as one of her biggest strengths. She has learned a lot and is playing smarter now as a junior. It's fun seeing the improvement."
