"Laura is an excellent athlete with a ton of potential. Her game is very different; with her ability to play tough to decipher defense and is coupled with a good sense up at the net with a huge overhead."

Assistant Coach Michelle Heidbrink on Richardson:

"Laura is the type of player that can mentally wear down her opponents. She has the ability to drive her opponents crazy by playing long rallies consistently every point. She has a solid net game and one of the best overheads in college tennis."
