Getting to know Susanna Kuuttila:

Is the UNM athletic department community based? Does the tennis team go to other sporting events to support UNM?

"Yes, the tennis team goes to soccer, basketball, football, softball, baseball, as well as track and cross-country meets. In return, athletes from those sports come to our home tennis matches. It's really cool to have so much support within UNM Athletics."

What will you take away from your experience here at UNM?

"I have definitely learned much better time management skills from being a student at UNM. Balancing my chemical engineering studies with tennis is a challenge, but I honestly really enjoy it. Now I feel confident that I will be able to handle whatever stress life throws at me"
