New Mexico's first left-handed player since 1990... is considered by many coaches nation wide to be one of the most improved college players nationwide from freshman to senior...plays lefty...is a fighter who has learned to play more aggressively...is also a consistent player and has good mix with both consistent game style and aggressive... underwent wrist surgery in summer of '07.
2008-09: White played some of the best tennis of her career this season posting a 22-10 overall record...ended spring play 17-7, posting the best record on the team...was 18-0 when she won the first set and 5-2 when she split sets...won the last nine of her 11 sets and went 8-1 after March 27th. White was named to the MWC All-Conference list in singles for the 2009 season...senior tied with Chris Hoffee at No. 12 on New Mexico's most career singles wins with 74. In doubles play White went 8-16 overall earning the most wins with partner Emma Hayman going 6-7. Off the court White is the vice president of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee and is New Mexico's only SAAC representative. She was twice named to the MWC Academic All-Conference Team in 2006 and 2007. White earned ITA Scholar Athlete honors in 2006 and 2008. The senior was awarded the ITA/Arthur Ashe Award for Leadership and Sportsmanship for the central region. White ends her collegiate career with a singles record of 74-53 and a doubles record of 48-53.
2007-08: Finished the season 16-14 in singles overall and 16-12 overall in doubles...went 10-11 in singles during the spring spending most of her time at the No. 2 spot...had a doubles record of 10-6 in the spring playing primarily at the No. 2 spot with Jennifer Ryba and Maria Sotirchos.
Fall 2007: Won first five singles matches of the season... collected marks of 6-3 in singles and 6-6 in doubles. 2006-07: Named to the MWC Academic all-conference team... Went 10-2 in the fall to finish with a 24-9 record in singles... finished 11-4 playing at the No. 3 spot... in doubles, played primarily with partners Nora Quintal and Jennifer Ryba, finishing 16-13 overall... had a 3-1 record with Quintal as part of a 10-6 overall fall record... finished 3-1 with Ryba, playing the No. 3 spot in the spring... honored with team award Most Improved Player... serves as UNM's vice president and MWC representative of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). 2005-06: ITA Scholar Athlete... named to the MWC Academic all-conference team... finished her first season as a Lobo with an overall singles record of 18-15... played most of her singles competitions during the spring season at the No. 6 spot where she recorded a 7-7 record... honored at the National Student-Athlete Day... won the consolation bracket of the ITA Summer Circuit Tournament 2006... honored with team Spirit Award.
