Lobos Compete Against Three Schools at Home

Last Match for New Mexico:
The Lobos swept the Mustangs with a 7-0 shutout win at home. All of the Lobos won their match and are now starting the dual match season 1-0. Leading the Lobos in singles are Michaela Bezdickova, Kristin Eggleston, Nikolina Grbac, Susanna Kuuttila, Laura Richardson and Katie Wookey who all are 1-0 in dual play. In doubles, the duo of Katie Wookey and Susanna Kuuttila along with partners Laura Richardson and Michaela Bezdickova are 1-0 so far in dual play. Richardson and Bezdickova are on a win streak of two coming off of the Long Beach Winter Invitational and the dual match against Western New Mexico.
Pacific, Northern Arizona, UTEP:
Pacific Tigers are 3-2 in dual play with their last win coming from New Mexico State defeating the Aggies 5-2. Their other two wins come from Fresno Pacific and Weber State. The Tigers only have one senior on their team, Sheena Chaudhuri. Northern Arizona is 0-4 overall with their last loss coming from UC-Santa Barbara with a score of 5-2. The Lumberjacks will play UTEP first before facing the Lobos. Leading singles is Alice Pacaut with a dual match record of 2-2. In doubles, the duo of Hannah Stone and Johanna Vang are leading 2-2 in dual play. UTEP is 3-3 in dual play with their last match resulting in a close loss to Milwaukee with a score of 4-3. The Miners will play Northern Arizona and Pacific before playing the Lobos on Sunday. The Miners have two seniors on the team, Dariya Abdrakhmanova and Martina Trierweiler.
Next Up: The Lobos will travel to Denver, Colo. to take on Denver at 3 p.m. on February 22, 2013 and then to Salt Lake City, Utah to face Utah at 11 a.m. on February 24, 2013
