She is heavily involved in the community including serving as a clinician and active board member for New Mexico Juniors Volleyball Club and has coached the age groups of 12's, 15's and 18's. In all three age groups, her New Mexico Juniors teams earned the title as the best teams in the state of New Mexico.

A 2005 graduate of Sacramento State, Beauchene established herself as one of the top players in Hornet history from 2000-03. She was a four-time all-Big Sky Conference selection, including a three-time unanimous first team choice and the league's MVP during her senior season.

The Auburn, Wash., native also became the first player in Big Sky history to be named Tournament MVP on three occasions. In addition, Beauchene received AVCA All-Pacific Region honors in 2003, the first Hornet to be named all-region since 1995. She was also named Big Sky Player of the Week nine times during her career, including a record five times in 2003. During her senior season, Beauchene received Sacramento State Senior Female Student-Athlete of the Year and Big Sky Scholar-Athlete honors.

She never missed a match during her four-year career, starting 131 consecutive contests, and led the Hornets to the Big Sky regular season and/or tournament championship each of her four seasons. During her final eight years of playing competition, Beauchene was part of a championship team, winning four district titles at Fife High School and four Big Sky titles with the Hornets.

Following her playing career, Beauchene moved into the coaching ranks as a student assistant at Sacramento State for the 2005 season and helped coach the team to a Big Sky title and NCAA berth. She continued her coaching experience with the Sacramento State Women's Club Volleyball Team who she coached to a 24-12 record, placing 23rd at the NIRSA championships and earning All NCCVL League honors for two players.

Beauchene advanced her coaching career by taking the assistant coaching position at the University of New Mexicoin 2005 where the team reached its best record in 10 years during her first year.
