Keep up with Rose's travels in Europe

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. --- University of New Mexico volleyball player Rose Morris has been selected to compete with the Bring It Promotions (BIP)/USA Developmental Team at the 2008 Global Challenge, July 21-24, in Pula, Croatia.

Morris, a junior-to-be, is an outside hitter for the Lobos from Albuquerque's Sandia High School. She was one of the Lobos top hitters in 2007, playing primarily in the front row. One of her best matches last season was against Gonzaga on Sept. 8 with a season-high 14 kills and career-high 5 assists.

Morris earned a spot on the team following a tryout with the U.S. Women's National Team in February at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs.

Morris leaves July 16 for a pre-tournament training session in Slovenia and will return on July 26.
