Ft. Collins, Colo. -- The University of New Mexico volleyball team suffered another loss at the hands of the Colorado State Rams tonight in Ft. Collins. The Rams took the match in three games, 30-26, 30-20 and 30-26 in front of a crowd of 1,310. UNM is now 7-17 overall and 2-9 in the Mountain West Conference. The Lobos will travel to Laramie and take on the Cowgirls of Wyoming tomorrow night at 7 p.m.

Junior outside hitter Anna Reines once again led the Lobo attack hitting .409 on 11 kills, two errors in 22 attemtps. Reines was the lone Lobo to score double figure kills against the Rams.

Senior libero Blaire Burns totaled a team high 13 digs, the 16th match of the season in double figure digs for Burns. Sophomore middle blocker Cayse Kaveny totaled nine kills and hit .316 against the Rams. Junior Andrea Sanchez scored UNM’s lone service ace.

As a team New Mexico hit .171 on 40 kills, 20 errors in 117 attempts to CSU’s .324 (52k-17e-108ta). The Lobos outblocked the Rams 4.5 to 3.0. Senior Staci Masten scored three block assists while Kaveny and freshman Chelsea Sondrup scored two a piece.

The Lobos final road conference match is tomorrow night at Wyoming. The Cowgirls were hosting the Falcons of Air Force tonight in conference action.Y
