HEY, HEY, HEY Lobo fans!!
It's been a crazy week in the volleyball world. Thanks so much for all your support. We are working hard and want to make a good appearance in Texas on Friday night.
This past weekend we played in exciting Las Vegas, it was a short weekend because we only had one game but it was definitely a tough one. We grinded out a win in a five-set match. It went back and forth the whole night and all of us were clenching our teeth and hoping for the best. When everyone puts in their best effort there is normally a good result and we pulled this one out thankfully which made us 10-5 in conference play and overall 19-8. We did a great job blocking when we were playing well and that made it easy for our defense to pick up the big hits out of the middle. A final kill from Rose Morris sent UNLV into the locker room as we answered back from our loss at home against the Rebels. We got to celebrate by eating dinner at our restaurant choice! We ended up deciding on In and Out Burger and then took a drive down The Strip.
When Monday came along it was time to look at our next opponent. This week has been a long one. We got four good practices in and weights in on Monday. We have a good game plan against the Horned Frogs and are excited to play our last conference match. It will be TCU's Senior Night which makes it a great, loud environment to play in. We are going to jump on them, do our business and get out. We know that this is a big game and we are all looking forward with anticipation. As a whole we're looking forward to picking up all the setter's dumps and blocking all the big hits. We are out to show TCU what we're made of and avenge the early season loss in Albuquerque.
Thank you for your continued support and we're looking forward to getting an at-large bid for NCAA's.
THANKS! Everyone's a LOBO! Woof, Woof, Woof!
