Raine Gavino joined the Lobo Center for Student-Athlete Success (LCSAS) in August 2022 as a GA. In this role, she provides academic support to members of the soccer team and helps with the overseeing of our student groups, the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), Lobos for Change (LFC), and Hidden Opponent. She is currently working towards receiving her Masters of Business Administration from the Anderson School of Management. Prior to being a GA for LCSAS, Raine was a Lobo student-athlete from 2018-2022.

In 2018, Raine started her journey at UNM as a member of the UNM Swimming and Diving Team and earned her BBA with concentrations in accounting and entrepreneurship. During her time as a student-athlete, Raine was a four-year UNM Scholar-Athlete as well as President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). She was a member of UNM SAAC her four years as an athlete, and actively participated in MW SAAC during her last two. She was also named captain of the UNM Swimming and Diving Team her last two years.

Raine is originally from the Philippines and graduated high school in Henderson, Nevada. She was a member of the Philippine National Swimming Team from 2012-2022. Raine coaches the Lobo Masters Swimming Team and runs her photography business during her free time. Her favorite hobbies include cooking, baking, and traveling.
