2017 (Junior Season): Played in 10 games, four as a quarterback and six others on special teams … was 17-for-29 passing with a touchdown, throwing for 180 yards … rushed for 218 yards on 35 carries with a touchdown … saw first action as a quarterback late in the first half against Boise State and went 7-for-13 passing with a touchdown, throwing for 67 yards … also added 49 yards rushing on eight carries … had his only start against Tulsa, leading UNM to a 16-13 win … was 9-for-14 passing for 108 yards with a long of 27 … had a career-high 156 yards rushing on 24 carries, including a long of 40 and a 19-yard touchdown run … also saw action at quarterback against Wyoming and Texas A&M.
